It's our fifth year together today, 7th of March! Had been a really enjoyable evening yesterday, kind of weird typing "yesterday" when it's like 6 hours ago or something. lol. Went to K-Box for the afternoon, and seriously 2 people singing for 4 hours continuously is like a recipe for sore throat haha. Quite amusing to see that our fifth year anniversary nearly became Rainie Yang day lol, 'cos we sang like about 7-8 of her songs? it's like accompanying her grow up haha.

Okay K-Box was not really the main focus for the day, the dinner was. Took me great pains to hide my intentions to bring dear to Hai Tien Lo at the 37th floor of the Pan Pac Hotel. The elevator ride was fun, and the excitement on her face was like plain to see. When the elevator doors opened, the restaurant staff came and took us to our seats. The cityscape view was just brilliant, dear will have some pictures to verify that statement haha.

After placing our orders, the rest of the evening was just plain enjoyment. Food came at a pace not too slow nor too fast, we were chatting away and looking outside at the town area of Singapore, identifying the landmarks. Yes, one can really see the entire town area of Singapore just from sitting down at the table, from Raffles Hospital at the right, to Raffles Hotel, to Raffles City, to Orchard Central slightly further back, to City Hall Building and Fullerton Area, Esplanade, Clarke Quay, CBD area, Marina Bay Sands. Sitting there viewing these landmarks just reminds one that Singapore is really bloody small LOL.

The food, ah yes of course. We had some ala carte stuff 'cos the set menus weren't to our liking. We ordered peking duck, shark's fin, brocolli with scallop and cod fish. dessert was double boiled hashima. The food was great, we agreed that it was a 8/10, and the service was normal I guess. We were pretty much left to our own evening which I liked, but for people who insist that waiters and waitresses be at their beck and call and refill their teacups to the "full" mark everytime they take a sip, good luck to you. What mattered most was the pleasant evening with my significant other, so as long as everything goes nicely and we get to spend the evening together pleasantly and enjoy ourselves, anything goes. Price was around 110/pax. Rather steep, but views at 37th floor is something worth the memories. especially if ur anniversary is on 7th March=)

The most depressing thing has gotta be the elevator trip down though, 'cos it's like signifying "back to Earth you two". lol.

Eh exams over, just finished an ad-hoc job, couple hundred of bucks more wouldn't hurt I reckon lol.

Anyways nowadays just surf forums, watch Top Gear, watch Family Outing.. kinda chill my life through.. oh after much delay, finally get to know my internship company.. quite excited about attachment job descriptions and of course the pay(or rather, allowance).. and also because got lunch khaki already since TMC is in the same coy as me.. haha... after so many years ago same class now can same coy..

I just saw the jay chou press conference participation details. Kind of ridiculous. a pair of tickets = 14bucks and make that 9 cinemas = 126 bucks, and you still have to undergo a lucky draw before a winner can be selected. I mean seriously. Jay Chou is god but hey, there's a limit to my prayers. So, yah. LOL.

2day(erm actually ytd since its 1am now..) was supposed to be movie day, but since laopo wanted to go get her levi's jeans, we went to get it, and since there's the promotion going on now, we got ourselves 1 each wahaha..

i like dark colored denim, not black though, super dark blue.. and they had this which the moment i stepped in i wanted it lol.. now i know what girls mean when they say they have to get it the moment they saw it LOL.

mine was the straight cut and dear chose skinny cut. is it? ya i think so.. and after that we went over to orchard, and went to taka.. haha we ate the Japanese noodle by taka's mini fountain and slacked for 5 min, and we went over to Fox at taka, where ah dear got herself 3 tops, and I got myself two and she could apply for membership at Fox which is lifetime and also get a free clutch bag, lol we are such spendthrifts.. and we went to Pull and Bear to look for a pair of shoes for myself. The pair of Nike sneakers have accompanied me through 4 yrs of walking, chasing buses, slacking and what-have-you, now that it has finally ran its course, a successor must come in I guess. Lots of sentiments w the Nike, so the replacement must live up to it's name.

Well we saw a couple of pairs of shoes at Pull and Bear, but we didn't wanna get it in haste, and we had lots of time since we didn't catch a movie. We headed over to Heeren, and Heeren, although known for selling youth stuffs, didn't provide any shoes that caught our attention.. Until we reached Adidas. Saw this pair of sneakers, majority blue with white. and another pair, same model, just the alternate colour arrangement: majority white with blue. However, they didn't have the size there, but they offered to help us call the Tampines 1 branch to reserve it. so ya. We decided to further try our luck at Cineleisure to see if there are other brands or designs.

Everyone will probably remember going to Cineleisure, and walking past this shoe shop which is rather poorly lit, but I think it's quite safe to say nobody really remembers the name yah? I can mention "this shop in Cine level 2 sell many sneakers one u know?" and everybody will "orh that one ah" but nobody remembers the name LOL. talk about PHAIL. lol. But that's besides the point ya. The shop does sell many shoes, and one pair did caught my eye. This pair from Vans was DAMN nice. Ah dear agreed(don't know whether it's because of the brand or what LOL). but seriously it's up till then the only pair which I could positively say is GOOD. But at 159, it's mighty steep. A good pair maybe, but I have other arrangements for my money for some other time, and by that time I had already bought quite some stuff(the tops and jeans).

So we decided to go back to taka for dinner and take a final look and decide whether to get the Pull and Bear shoes.. but as it turns out, we overestimated our judgment of the shoes, and it didn't really turn out to be as fine as we had in mind when we left the place. haha.. walking over to Stadium still located in taka, we saw what kind of shoes a girl should wear when travelling alone in the middle of the night and afraid of molesters LOL. Caterpillar's boots. Don't believe? take a look at the shoes' features. Not for the faint of heart man. If there's a shoe brand that separates the men from the boys, this is it man. lol.

But well I'm not ready to begin my life as an engineer so early, so we headed back to Tamp 1, to see how our last dash of hope turns out. Upon seeing the shoe, I quickly realized how nice and the one with majority white with little blue looks. Ah dear wanted the other one, but my intention was to get dark tops, a dark jeans and white base shoe, in order to contrast and bring out the shoe. So I went with my choice and got Nike's successor. Adidas. LOL. Kinda fitting successor, no?

And then we went to converse to get myself socks. My old socks have worn out and are getting very uncomfortable. Finally, dear dear in her desperate attempt to be on par with me in terms of spending for the day, got herself a pair of heels from DMK lol..

turned out, I spent 30cents more than her for the day LOL. oh not including cab fare though lol..

My last two paragraphs are kinda short, cause it's 1.40am now.. My brain isn't functioning anymore.. till the next post=)

alrighty.. we're officially four! yay!

ok we toured North East Line today lol.. k la not really toured.. hmm we went vivocity for lunch/teabreak lol.. the moment we stepped in we saw Jia Xiang Jia Xiang Jia Xiang Mian Mian MIAN!! lolol..

i must say the noodles are really decent.. but for a price though.. 10 bucks for a bowl of noodles is a tad overpriced. but heck, if ur eating dinner, im pretty sure its a good deal.. the noodles are nicely done and stuff..

and we loitered ard vivo abit.. which was pretty nice but not very eventful lol.. except for pet safari with the cute hamsters and we went to candy empire for chocolate lol.. milk chocolates are the best thing ever.. and later we went to Central, and sat ard the river.. simple chitchat and stuff is like the best thing eva..

dinner was at sun with moon @ central.. salmon sashimi like totally kicked sakae's ass.. seriously.. thick, juicy slices of those are just simply addictive.. like i told dear, i went to heaven and back in 30 seconds lolol.. the rest of the dishes were pretty decent too.. pics shall be ah dear's responsibility lol..!

and we went read bridge agn haha.. lazing ard there is so nice.. and we wanted to go ord bridge, but its like quite no point lol.. so we just went into liang court to look look see see.. and i got myself two mr men top lol.. and dear, the material is really more soft than my current homeclothes.. i think if i wear to sch ima fall aslp in lecture LOLOL..

btw, i made earrings for my beloved.. I mean, my girlfriend wears earrings I make, so if ur boyfriend doesn't make earrings for u, he suck. Period.

well so it's recess week..so i get to rest and revise this week.. a long needed rest is needed.. a lot of things to catch up.. seriously..
anw im watching sharks tale so the entry is basically very brief lol..

btw.. went out with dear on saturday.. and its a simple day with simple food and simple movie but i enjoyed the day, because its with my laopo.. haha...

i feel satisfied as long as i can see and talk to my laopo.. coz i dun think its necessary to splurge on big meals just to show that a couple is loving.. we just need to be with each other, occasionally buy some stuff aka retail therapy, and thats good enuf..

btw 4 yr anni is coming.. gotta think of something nice for ah dear.. hopefully nt too late too tink now lol.. k gtg..

woohoo! so today is vday, nan de vday is on a saturday.. can get to spend the entire day with my laopo haha.. eh but bad thing will be the shopping centres will be crammed full of people.. but nonetheless, it was a fun day out..

went to the florist to get the flowers.. it's like a tradition liao la.. so yah.. haha.. i think the flowers are pretty nice.. so yupz.. baby pink is like so much sweeter than red or blue(what..?! blue..??) roses lo.. and seriously, maybe the influx of FTs and the increase in population PLUS the occasion have directly led to a shortage in the number of taxis today, and urs truly spend a good 20-25 min waiting for a cab.. couldn't even book a cab.. like wtf..

but it kinda makes the whole thing worthwhile when i see the expression of her face when she saw the flowers.. elated.. lol.. (to taxi uncle: aiya, sometimes girls dun wan the flowers.. they want the gesture of getting the flowers.. i think we can both agree on this yah)

today is like the day of in promptu to the max.. we defaulted on our entire plan and basically did nothing like our itinerary.. lol..

we headed to central 1st... initial plan was to grab something to eat.. but we ended up (me being the hungry pig) eating at Mr Curry by waraku.. the food is seriously decent.. and the variety is ok.. and the curry is really super nice too.. for 35bucks for 2 ppl, its worth it i presume.. and after that, we went to vivocity, where i made reservations at a restaurant there for dinner.. but our "lunch" was so close to dinner time that we din even feel hungry so basically we pangseh-ed the restaurant lol.. but they had the audacity to not call to enquire whether i still wanted the seats.. bloody crap..

impt point to note.. MY GIRLFRIEND AND I ARE NOT INTENDING TO GET MARRIED ANY TIME SOON, pls do NOT drag us to sign up for any wedding crap.. i mean seriously.. For the 4 years we're tgt, every year without fail, they will pry high and low for targets like us.. i mean seriously.. even robbers choose their targets properly.. these uncles and aunties practically go after every guy that's holding a girl's hand.. until they realise the guy is the father and the girl is like 3 mths old. seriously, buzz off already.

ok so that aside, we headed to cityhall.. with the plan to go see a nice pair of jeans for myself.. a gift courtesy of my dearest, because she got gst offset package..! like wth.. lol.. so good.. eh lawman no longer at suntec, so wasted our trip there.. and then we headed back to raffles city, and we went to Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie(i copied and pasted this.. couldn't spell it for nuts), since ah hua was like so gian over its Royale choc.. me and dear shared a pasta, since we were kinda hungry, but not really in the mood for a full fledged meal.

after that i went over to the chocolate section, but apparently the Royale was sold out, so I settled on the Cafe Caramel and ah dear settled on the Gateaux Chocolat, which i REFUSED to continue eating after about 0.05mm sq of tasting it..(to ah dear: eh obviously, i now at the website look at the name and pic and type in one.. not memorize.. so dun be too amazed that i know the name lol..)

the food at Canele was pretty ok.. i mean if u go to a chocolatier's u dun expect top grade culinary skills, but the chocolate is something to rave about.. so yupz..

and after the meal, we went to topshop (for the 2nd time in the day, 1st was at vivo) to take a look at the jeans... duno why i always "lose money" at this area one.. haiz.. the fengshui there not good for me lol.. oh well at least today it's not me who "lose money" today.. lol.. thanx dear for the jeans haha.. loved it very very much.. haha.. eh after that, we had a very enjoyable walk to the bus stop outside suntec city to take bus no. 10 home.. haha.. always prefer a bus trip to an mrt trip.. can chat more and stuff.. mrt no good.. squeezy + no seats..

Maternal grandpa passed away on Saturday, 3rd Jan, at 3.10pm..though it wasn't something which was very sudden to me, it was nonetheless equally devastating.. I've done too little for him while he was alive, and now that he's gone, I'll never be able to make it up to him.

I'm sorry I didn't do my best, grandpa, but I just wanna say, thanks for being my grandpa, thanks for being the person who cooks my favourite curry chicken every sat I went back to visit you. thanks for being the person who I can play mahjong with and praises me non-stop, thanks for allowing me to stay by ur side and looking forward to see me when u were in hospital. Again, thanks for being my grandpa.

But all good things have to come to an end, and I believe that you'll find grandma when u cross over to the other world, and u can live with her forever and be freed from all ur physical sufferings while u were alive, all that extremely vicious neck pains, headaches, breathing difficulties, walking difficulties.. Im glad that ur free from all these sufferings, but I can't help but want to be selfish and keep u here with me, with us..

I know it's time to let go, and move on, but right now, I just want to live awhile more pausing my life and remembering u.. This may be cliche, but I just wanna say, that you may not be the best waigong in the world, but you are the best waigong to me.. I'll love and remember you, now and forever..

On another note, happy 46th month my dear.. sorry I didn't sms u much the past few days.. see ya this sat.. love ya..

and before dat, dinner at coffee club was a good experience but the blur manager gave us ice water despite us requesting for warm water twice, but it was more funny den irritating so haha..

ok this update is coming in kinda late but YAY i got my photocard license liao!! yahoo!!.. got it on 44th month!! lala.. TP give me de 44th mth anniversary present lalala.. lol.. was so happy man.. took a pic of it but den is use hp camera so the quality is erm, non-existent lol..

it now sits in my wallet with a plastic protector shielding it from the wind and rain LOL.. IC also never protect until like that haha...
and with good reason too! coz it brought me a small windfall..! just above the barcode, too small to be seen, is a set of numbers.. and i bought the last 4 digits for ytd and today.. and i tio 1st prize! sadly it's iBet nia.. so 2k divided by 12 is 166bucks.. not alot(compared to 2k) but i can really do with 166 more bucks lol..

ok i wanna say something.. im extremely busy, because all the bloody tutorials are stacking up, and i do not have time to revise the tutorials, and to read thru my textbks.. and exams will be coming in ard 3weeks plus minus..

ok not much of a deal to others, but if u put urself in the following scenario.. ur final theory is expiring in a month and ur school membership is expiring in 3 months..

failing will result in having to book a date for final theory, which is gonna take 2mths, after that then can BOOK TP test date, which is gonna take a further 3mths, and cost u 150bucks, and then u have to renew school membership for 80bucks, and in order to pass, u have to continue learning driving in the mean time, which will cost another couple of hundred, and not to mention the weekends wasted travelling to ubi..

okok.. due to popular demand from my reader (notice no 's').. i shall try to post a short post.. no cupboard this time.. so no worries.. btw that was really my own writing.. not some retarded forwarded email crap..

ok time with dear today was really awesome.. been sometime since we went out huh.. haha.. eh seriously the paper design ball was damn hard to make lo.. ah hua until ytd oso stil cannot make..

anyway.. these few days are all about olympics and sports and stuff.. watching them run and swim and smash and dunk and and kick makes me feel sporty.. especially when i sit at my sofa eating potato chips.. *burps*

ok anyway, today at wisma we saw this pedro shoes, quite nice.. dear say buy for me.. i thinking of getting it myself.. haha.. quite nice ah... but see how la ah. haha.. hand head tight now.. haha..

and oh yah the food.. dinner was simple fare, but i hope and i think ah dear like it.. haha.. but the kind man was erm.. weird.. lol.. seriously.. u never know who is eavesdropping on you.. so must be careful what one say..

and school is now going to 3rd week.. all the tutorial stuffs are warming up, and all the things are starting to look alien again.. lol.. so haha.. see how la ah.. nid to plan my study plan till swee swee..

okok.. paiseh for taking so goddamn long to blog my 2D1N genting trip.. lol.. i not hardcore blogger like u la ah dear.. so dun blame me lol..

the trip was a jing shen killer.. coz it's jackpot all the way lol, no time to slp.. very very fun.. if got chance i dun mind going again lol.. the slots machines are a good way to spend time.. haha..

but before i digress, the trip up in the coach was wonderful.. super big legroom, own tv with a small range of movies but still not bad, and the seats are those can shift up shift down with the press of a button one..

don't know whether can see exactly how much is the legroom from these pics.. just know that u can lie down straight la lol..

so the trip up was ok.. eh on the way in malaysia u can see all the plants and vegetation and all the scenery that singapore has forsaken to build highrise buildings..

AND.... this was what greeted us when we reached the top..

and we reached and checked into the rooms.. zero window view.. but the lift area window view is world class.. seriously.. in fact it's so perfect i took 1 damn nice one and now it's my desktop wallpaper.. phenomenal.. n nope im not gonna show it.. lol..

ok when we reached, it was ard 5plus in the evening liao.. so without delay we went into casino.. and no photogs inside.. and i spent like ard 10-12hrs in there.. lol.. until 6.30 in the morning den go back room for a nap..

oh yah.. initially threw in 200 ringgit to bet... and about to die that time, tio jackpot 260ringgit lolol.. but in the end, lost 20 ringgit lol.. not bad considering i had fun the whole nite..

and the next day, had lunch, and just a couple of hours before leaving.. we took fotos of the outdoor amusement park.. ok I took fotos lol..

and that sort of ended the trip in genting.. however the trip back was not very erm, good so to speak.. though the coach is a double deck coach, the seat was smaller, legroom SUCKS..

'miserable' will be an euphemism..

and to add to that.. at ard 10plus when we reached the 2nd link, coming back to singapore was crazy.. the coach queue was siao one.. waited an hour plus..

it was much longer queue than this.. too dark so camera cannot take full view..

last but definitely not the least.. missing ah dear very much.. haha.. tmr watch money no enough! got a tiny surprise for u! real small one though.. lol.. not a gift hor dear.. so dun think too much..cya soon..!

ok.. this post is my last blog post before i send my laptop for repairs lol.. i reformatted it, and tmr sending it for repairs.. it will be gone for a few days, perhaps a week.. haha.. and then i will have a new comp LOL.. new hardware, new software = new comp lol..

anw, today was spent with my beloved dear.. watched The Dark Knight.. it was very nice, Heath Ledger's last act.. he played joker very well.. if one can say that his role as Ennis Del Mar from Brokeback Mountain made everyone know him, then it wouldn't be too wrong to say that his role as The Joker from The Dark Knight made everyone remember him..

and my dearest baobei is going to have fun these few days.. dun forget me wor.. lol.. eh i'll try to occupy myself while u enjoy urself with ur frens.. u must spend time with ur friends too sometimes.. if u always neglect ur friends, next time if i not free, u lonely sia.. haha..

oh and day out with laopo ytd was a point-scoring day lol.. chatted quite a bit with her mum.. hope that livened things up a bit.. and doing groceries with laopo is so weird and funny and interesting haha.. maybe can do that more often this month.. yah.. haha..

and dinner was at tanjong pagar that area... pretty hidden place but still quite famous.. oh yah and the place we were supposed to go is nowhere to be found lol.. think it moved away.. but kinda weird coz some foodshow was still showing it just a month back and ytd we went, it was gone haha..

eventually settled down at another restaurant.. pretty decent food too.. but i duno why i go out and eat kong ba bao made by others when my mama knows how to make it lol.. but overall the food was quite nice haha..

没有老婆的日子.. so hard to pass time.. go sgforums, go watch movie online, but still cannot accustom to the life without laopo.. 还好只是去四天，不然我会闷死。。

反正都没事做，就用华文来blog好了。。

今天比较好了，没有昨天那么惨，咳嗽咳到半死。。今天去agency那里签合约，拜一就开工咯！希望能好好做，since it's an engineering firm, 对我的resume 很好，能够beef up my resume，所以要加油做好份内的事。。and oh ya, the agency 叫我推荐一位朋友因为他们需要多一个人跟我做一样的东西。。

so 就叫阿华跟我一起咯。。有个朋友做伴总是个好事，unlike now，老婆在holiday，zia song lo。。

哇用华文来blog真是不容易，不知道那些chinese news articles 要花多就才process的出来。。

明天要去盛港探望外公外婆。。每个拜六跟老婆，很少会回去，就趁这次回去看看他们老人家。。

ok a real short update.. today is me and dear's 38th month! we are san ba gong and san ba po! lalala.. haha.. went to watch romantic comedy "What Happens In Vegas" 2day.. haha.. dear was dressed very nicely.. with her purple dress which was way nice.. haha..
oh ya the honey+ aloe vera is very nice hhaa.. well i finished it, so u can tell its nice haha..
and we had a simple fare at the hongkong cafe and cabbed hm..

this is a rather short meeting with dear just before she flies off..! PANGSEH!!! lol..

oh yah before i forgot.. ah dear FINALLY won in the Crash n Burn on the 3rd May in Plaza Singapura Cinema 8 seat H01 just before watching iron man.. LOL..

haha.. today has been a real busy day.. First I had to wake kinda early, around 10am, to freshen up myself to go for the interview at the engineering firm at Changi.. well it's kinda ulu there and had to transfer a few bus services to reach there, but I was earlier than expected so the interview started earlier..

am supposed to do some time measurement for a Value Stream Mapping project for the company to cut cost to see where time is lost during the production processes, so you literally have time the process of welding and stuff, and the engineer in charge said something about being able to include me in some parts of the projects to kinda beef up my resume too.. Well, gotta thank him if I can get the job..

also, he asked me some questions, like for example whether I know photoshop and autoCAD, which sadly I don't.. so I decided that I need to start cutting down on games, and start learning stuff which may come in handy next time.. talk about making full use of my time.. oh my driving have to resume soon too.. argh..

On a lighter note, Growth Dividend come lo! well its supposed to be our money anyway.. Oh yah.. and the boys gave cash for a birthday gift, funny guys.. haha.. And guess who came out of her way to find me at fish and co. 2day..? haha.. thanks sweetie baobei..! so nice of you to drop by! haha.. the guys were like "har 你真的就这样走了啊?" LOL.. but dear after you left we also left leh haha.. i really appreciate dear for coming haha.. goes to show how much u tink of me..! hee.. give u a kiss.. muacks..! but you going to Thailand soon.. =( but i hope u really enjoy yourself there, have fun, and most importantly take care of urself! oh wait! thats not the most important! most important is MUST MISS ME...!!! =(

I need a portable hard disk.. to back up my files.. gotta send this lappy for repairs.. hinge loose sian.. but it's a great comp, can contemplate buying ASUS again, but if im getting another lappy next time, weight will be no.1 factor... wun be buying lappy for graphics intensive games anymore.. maybe for speed of opening big programs and stuff, but not for games.. so ram must be sufficient.. but now, hard disk drive.. maybe will buy after 1st payday.. if got enough to spend.. if not, gotta activate growth dividends..

oh yah.. rounded off the night with two board games at this board game shop beside 85 market.. real cheap, its student price for the whole day on mondays and tuesdays.. got package for groups of friends.. 6 ppl 24bucks nia.. 4 per pax.. for two hours.. cheap right..? and also the drinks are free flow, and there's chips to go along.. nothing fanciful, just a nice chill out place to chio4 ga1 peng4 with ur friends.. and before you question, please, they do not offer common games like monopoly and risk and the like.. the games are all imported and quite certainly one will not have seen or played them before.. played a card game called "loot"

and a card game called "munchkin"..

munchkin was really amazingly fun.. haha.. we get to sabotage each other haha.. real funny..
oh yah.. tmr going for another tan, if the weather turns out to be sunny and nice..=) if not then stay home and do some workout and learn something..

ah har.. one of the finer things in life.. spending time to sit down and blog.. no worries about deadlines, no worries about homework.. so nice..
nothing much happened over the course of the 1st year.. moving in and out of hostel was ok, but then again, what to expect?

there was the orientation, which was nothing but a bunch of shitheads gathering tgt to piss off a bunch of shitheads, and there's kevin and zhi qi, who both met their girlfriends, and of course there's the occasional (and by occasional I mean moon bang earth that kind) time when all 6 guys are together, for a meal, with NO other ppl.. lol..

i mean seriously.. hall is NOT that fascinating..

and come back to current day.. hmm.. life is good, with baobei, so peaceful, so comforting.. so marrying.. wahaha.. walk 5steps, one person wants us to get married..goodness.. lol..
I need a bag, seriously.. for normal use.. clothes i dunid so much.. but a bag is proving to be ever so elusive.. hmm..

and so we have heard, that the government is slowly but surely increasing the influx of FTs.. A glance around while being on the MRT or around your neighbourhood will set u thinking why there are so many FTs ard.. i mean i don't condemn FTs, but this morning on the bus, our Mr Lim Swee Say, NTUC general secretary, actually has the cheek to tell singaporeans to brace themselves for more retrenchments this yr as companies move out of sg..?

I mean come on, ASSUMING we believe you this time round, that companies are moving out of sg and more retrenchments are going to occur, why are you idiots still letting them in? to make the numbers up..? you have ppl, singaporeans losing jobs to FTs, not because they are more competent, but because they are cheaper, and in fact, LESS competent than singaporeans, just because singaporean companies are cutting costs, and yet on the other hand, the ppl who are letting them in, making immigration laws more easy for them saying BRACE YOURSELVES FOR RETRENCHMENT..?

n so ytd was 19th jan! Jay Chou concert! omgomgomgomgomgomgomg! it was just perfect! okok i'll try not to be overwhelmed by it now..
went to fetch dear 1st.. haha.. wasted no time in going over to kallang haha.. we reached there abt 3? i kinda forgot but its ard there la haha... n we took bus 11 to SIS n there was oready a small crowd there to get jay merchandise but we din go till later.. haha..
we headed over to the leisure park or duno what its called after its renovation... the place is not very packed though, but i think it has reached its peak crowd liao lol.. its almost impossible to get a crowd there on normal days la.. haha.. dear n i went to eat pasta there n oh we discovered finally that their soup of the day is creme of mushroom only on sundays.. lol.. no wonder we nv get to eat it.. so we had our pasta and the banana pizza dessert which ah dear loved.. lol.. and we went to arcade to play the lame memory game which only had 20 stages lol.. completed it la haha.. no kick no kick..
and the toilet! how lousy.. the cubicle doors cannot be locked one.. haha.. how sucky.. n before long, we were heading to SIS! omg! its so exciting..!
when we went back to indoor stadium at ard 5, we saw this!

so cute! well dear was SOOOOOOOOOOO contemplating on smuggling it home i was worried she would do something horrible if she sees the real jay later lol!
and there's the queue for the merchandise ever so long.. n we joined it to get a few for ourselves and dear got something for her fren too.. haha.. and while waiting at the premier queue we were worried the security will take our digicam away.. lol.. but when the queue opened, n seeing their "thorough" bag checking skills, we realise our worries were unfounded lol..
and this was what greeted us when we stepped in..
it was just breath-taking.. the thought of what awaits us just took our breath away.. well at least it took mine away.. haha..

us inside the premier arena.. we will later realise the benefits of premier seats..LOL.. oh n i ran out after dat to get lightsticks and ribena for dear from the mall.. coz the 7-11 at indoor stadium were selling ribena at 3 bucks per pack.. the mall sell 1.90 nia.. the queue was long too.. so going to the mall side was a wise choice.. and theres' no lack of ppl selling lightsticks and making fast money..

and wow.. sbs transit smart.. immediately after the concert end, at the indoor staium bus stop, there were double deck buses which provided direct bus services back to new towns.. like tampines, ang mo kio and stuff.. it helped to clear some crowds and ppl could get home fast at a flat rate of 2 bucks.. they rob mrt's business lol..

phew...! in the blink of an eye, 2007 is drawing to a close.. how fast time flies.. i can still remember the 1st day of 2007, still stuck in the army, still stuck doing unnecessary things.. man that sux.. n throughout the year, ord, temp job with huang and edmund, croft n parmesh going overseas, admission to uni, orientation(sux), dear's exams, my exams.. it has been a packed yr indeed..

but 2008 definitely promises to be more interesting, minus the studying part.. lol.. dear will soon know her alvl results, i will go to yr 2( i hope lol).. hmm.. nothing less than obstacles in my persue for studies.. but i think im able to cope, at least till now.. oh n there is the withdrawing frm hostel at the end of the yr.. it was as fun as i thot it will be so.. haha. think im getting a new study desk at home since the stuff(papers, files, reference books) in hostel is crazy.. hmm..

well here's my resolution for the yr:
1. must do well for studies
2. must exercise lol.. really have been slacking far too much..
3. spend more time with dear.. 3yrs coming!!
4. oh.. n jay's concert! woots...
5. send the laptop for maintenance for the webcam..(always dragging it haha..)
6. save more money=)

lalala.. ytd go zoooo! soo fun ahahaha.. but the travelling was soo long.. though it was significantly reduced and made more enjoyable by my dearest.. haha..

oh oh.. while we were on 138 bus to the zoo from AMK, our bus were on its top speed, revving it's engine at full throttle, but when we looked out, one big construction lorry zoomed past us.. we were puzzled at 1st as to y this could possibly happened.. but as it passed us we realised y..

its the dark knight himself!! LOLOL..

well before long we were at the zoo haha.. and the moment we step down the bus ah dear was so excited.. how excited u say.. well apparently she mistook the following for erm.. whatever u do NOT think it is HAHAHHAA..

okok so we bought the tix and went in.. and at the forest trails we saw this.. it remained at that position from when we entered until we left the place.. issit real or fake..??

and we couldn't find the bloody monkey in the forest until we directly looked up..

thank god it din pee on us.. we did c one pee later in the day lol..

1st few decent animals.. flamingoes! so serene..
and what's a zoo without monkeys?

oh ya.. polar bears! freaking monstrous.. 3 metres of fur.. it can pwn any human wif ease.. hmm.. according to dear apparently the mama polar died.. left the young one and the father bear..

and wow.. we saw a wolf..! though it was slping away.. nothing much.. and there's no wolf perfume whatsoever lol.. zoo bluff money lolol..

and dear was so sad mr. rhino had an open wound on its back..

today was a fun day.. i spent the day with my precious baobei.. haha..
we came my hse to relax, lol dear even played need for speed hahaha.. but i wun wanna mention wat happened to the kelian car haha..

haha ytd was my 3rd school day in NTU and my 2nd day of actual studying lol.. difficulty was still acceptable as its all JC work so yah can handle.. and after lessons i cut through singapore to reach tampines from freaking boonlay to meet laopo da ren for our belated 29th mth celebration haha.. hmm it was not a big hooha but we ate pasta n the banana choc pizza dessert lol.. pretty nice haha.. and we bought my stationery and stuff.. popular at tamp has a 10000000000times shorter queue den NTU.. its horrendous at NTU popular you won't believe how crazy it is.. anyway that's not the main point.. the main thing is that we got to buy me a genie!!

haha.. yesterday was a super short day.. as it always is when i meet dear.. so freaking fast time passes.. sigh..and so we went to heeren yesterday.. tried to find the elusive top for dear and well we saw it but dear was quite confident there are better-value ones at far east so we went to far east with yours truly helping baobei take umbrella THE WHOLE TIME... heng never see my friends lol..
and wow dear was right.. far east got cheaper stuff.. haha.. and we bought durian muchi!! so nice haha.. but it did not satisfy the craving for real durians.. only made it worse lol..
but due to some weird turn of events, we din get the top lol.. and we went sakae haha.. and i had the laugh of my life wahhahahahahhahaa...

hahaha.. k this blog will be short and simple.. cos i got only one thing to blog about.. and that is... dear bought me curry puffs and mineral water for breakfast today! all the way from tampines!! isn't that sweet?
haha.. i was at the mrt station, just messaged jon that i'll be slightly late, went up the escalator, wanted to take out my wallet to tap to get through the gate, and dear popped up behind me saying, "我等你等很久咯" and i turn and wah seh! its dear sia! haha.. i jitao got the biggest shock since my A level results sia..
i was like "huh??? why are you here????" so loudly according to dear that the whole mrt station can hear sia..lol.. but i was so stunned la haha.. but yah so so so happy that dearie bought me breakfast hee.. and wait for me sia.. what if i wear some not so obvious and bright colour how? or if i never reply your message how? most days i reach office then meh you back de leh no? big risk for you sia dear but i loved it! hee tytytytyty!!! i on the train i see other couple i feel like go to them and "chey, your girlfriend got buy breakfast for you or not? mine got leh, your girlfriend lousy" but sanity stopped me there yah..
but dear, why you so happy i kiss you sia.. i thought we depart time always got kiss de? no matter 风吹雨打 for the past 2 years we like that le? haha..

hahaha... wow today had been a great day, dear came over to use my laptop.. which i think she finds pretty cool haha... we had a good hearty chat about things and surfing the net using my lappy was fun haha.. after that for dinner we went to pasta and lol got our nd helping of dessert lol so funny haha.. and jigsaw world stuffs are so so nice.. must get something when my pay comes haha..
oh ya wow.. we went to toys'r'us and we were walking ard when dear suddenly said, "hey look! the salmon sushi so cute!" then i turn and "huh, got meh?" then she said "this one la!" and i was like, "this one? isn't it a prawn sushi?" then she "oh ya hor" hahahahaha...and my punishment was to buy her a hula hoop and carry it for her haha..

haha.. finally the day is here! my pink ic! the one card that all guys currently in green are dying to get back. It's still seems so unreal that I don't have to be back in camp on Monday, that I don't have to think of what status to put and that I don't have to take anymore 67 to King Albert's Park anymore. It still hasn't sink in yet, but already I'm enjoying and sinking myself into the luxury of having no burdens, at least not related to green.
Much as I miss the guys from my department, I know that we will meet again outside, and I'll never forget that we once walked countless kilometers inside that cursed depot and counted endless boxes of ammunition, rain or shine, we went in, by hook or by crook, we coughed out that bloody MPR, but of course, no such thing now. Never. Haha.. well anyway, even today, the very last day, the mother f***ers who were supposed to be here to sign our clearances for us weren't here. So coincidental, so accidental huh. Can't actually believe this world actually consists of this kind of people. But nevertheless, thanks to a few good NSFs, we got our precious pink ic back just before lunchtime. So after that we headed over to rocky's pizza and got some decent pizzas, cheesesticks and chicken wings, and oh, some not so decent 7-ups and pepsi hahaha. Before heading back home. Nothing big, nothing fascinating, but nobody's complaining, because the most important thing is already in our wallets haha.. From today onwards, it's a different journey, a different destination, but a same laopo hee=)

haha.. yupz its my bday today.. hmm firstly, thanks to the guys who gave me the watch and spending the eve with me and liwei haha.. crystal jade and gelare and pool and 85 haha.. and the zaogeng girl.. omg.. lol..

hmm.. its 2yr today.. and im glad dat i can go out wif baobei.. to spend time, dine, and watch movie wif her.. time flew by today.. we met at tamp lib and let her study abit.. haha.. dat was where baobei showed me my present.. a foto album of our times tgt for the past 2 yrs.. she developed all the fotos and put them in.. v nice and v heartwarming and very the bring-back-fond-memories.. makes my present for her looks sucky though.. yah.. stars lyk kinda outdated.. so yah.. juz hope she lyks it den can le.. all the pain wil be worthwhile i guess..

hmm.. got class outing ytd.. went sizzler..
attendance was not bad.. considering got kev, zhiqi, kimhua, doreen, zhihong, junwei, yaolong, willie, keat, aaron and me.. hmm.. shiqi and char nv come..

the next day, the old woman goes to work, and she wants to gif the ribbon to her boss.. but he's too bz to entertain her as he had to attend a meeting.. so she decided to come back at lunchtime.. but when she came back at lunchtime, he stil was bz.. so she had no choice but to keep it till next day.. on the next day, she came to his office but stil he was too bz.. so she asked juz one min of his time.. to which he agreed to.. and she told him, "boss im giving this to u coz u make a difference in my life.. u employed me even though im juz an old woman, u knew dat my husband could no longer work and thus u gave me a chance to work under u despite my qualifications, or rather the lack thereof.. thus u made a difference in my life.. pass this ribbon to someone hu is impt to u.. tell the person he makes a difference in ur life before it's too late.."

kk.. so we got her safety charm at the temple.. den the day so hot.. so we take bus lo.. dunwan to take mrt.. not fun.. i dun lyk mrt.. no space to slack.. sit bus can chat den dunid squeeze wif ppl.. yupz.. hmm.. though best is car.. lol.. and tok loud loud.. haha.. hmm.. yah.. so we took 12 back to tamp.. den go my grandma hse.. dear was lyk ssssssssoooooooooooooo frightened.. she was asking wat to call my grandpa n grandma.. i larf till pengz.. haha..den reach there.. so weird.. everybody gimme dat kind of yanshen.. lol.. but it was quite ok la.. nothing much happen.. juz dat its quite weird coz dear 1st time visit my relative side.. lol.. though i dun lyk them..
and so after dat pei dear go find her dad and mum.. den after dat our sat end.. sobz.. so fast..
aiyo.. heng ah.. dear juz say my entry muz longer den hers.. lol.. muz write summore lol.. hmm.. wah sun nite went geylang eat the doujiang wang.. wah v v v v v v v v v v v v nice sia.. will bring dear go... but... she muz wear long sleeve turtleneck, plus jeans... better if she bring knitwear.. LOLOL.. coz its geylang after all.. hmm.. though if we go in the mornings and afternoons and b off by 5pm it wun b dat bad.. haha..

ouch ouch ouch.. my wisdom tooth VERY PAIN!!!!! sob=(
haiz.. feeling feverish todae again sia.. ji tao tooth pain plus fever.. no mood to tok in camp sia.. haiz.. den every morning wake up feel ok, fresh.. end up reach camp start getting migraine.. head damn pain.. bend down get stuff nia the blood will chiong up to head.. i tink i will peng sia.. haiz.. so tongku..
lol and the ironic part abt my toothache is.. i juz stop drinking cold carbonated drinks and eating choc.. and drink only plain water.. and 2dae go down lunch eat yong tao hu, drink soup and drink plain water.. summore the plain water is harder to get den the cordial drinks easily obtained.. haha.. and still, headache, fever, toothache.. qn mark lol..
ytd at ntuc wif baobei so fun.. i really luv my baobei to the max max max.. hmm.. todae do stocktake time i suddenly tink of her agn.. i tink abt how i can trust her so deeply and trust her love for me so deeply.. hee.. i noe dat she luvs me.. and i hope dat she noes dat i luv her too.. maybe i dun really tell her dat v often.. but the silly ger wil nv noe how much impact she has made in my life oready.. of coz she yearns for attention.. but now i cant gif her dat yet.. i can only accompany her during weekends.. but i believe its these lowly times dat will bring us closer to each other and let us treasure our time 2gether too.. im glad we sailed through 15mths in the blink of an eye.. and i truly hope, and i know, dat we will haf many 15mths to come.. hee.. of coz.. quantity is nothing without quality.. we did not go thru 15mths arguing and fighting, but 15mths of loving, trusting, understanding and knowing each other.. wif each day we get to know each other better and deeper den the day b4.. with each passing moment we love and yearn for each other more.. and this is the kind of simple, sweet love that i want to hold on to for the next 100yrs of my life.. i dunwan her to be the prettiest or smartiest or thinnest.. i want her to b the one hu trusts me the most, hu understands me the most, hu knows me the most, hu supports me the most, n most importantly, the one hu luvs me the most.. hee.. dear..
