2day(erm actually ytd since its 1am now..) was supposed to be movie day, but since laopo wanted to go get her levi's jeans, we went to get it, and since there's the promotion going on now, we got ourselves 1 each wahaha..

i like dark colored denim, not black though, super dark blue.. and they had this which the moment i stepped in i wanted it lol.. now i know what girls mean when they say they have to get it the moment they saw it LOL.

mine was the straight cut and dear chose skinny cut. is it? ya i think so.. and after that we went over to orchard, and went to taka.. haha we ate the Japanese noodle by taka's mini fountain and slacked for 5 min, and we went over to Fox at taka, where ah dear got herself 3 tops, and I got myself two and she could apply for membership at Fox which is lifetime and also get a free clutch bag, lol we are such spendthrifts.. and we went to Pull and Bear to look for a pair of shoes for myself. The pair of Nike sneakers have accompanied me through 4 yrs of walking, chasing buses, slacking and what-have-you, now that it has finally ran its course, a successor must come in I guess. Lots of sentiments w the Nike, so the replacement must live up to it's name.

Well we saw a couple of pairs of shoes at Pull and Bear, but we didn't wanna get it in haste, and we had lots of time since we didn't catch a movie. We headed over to Heeren, and Heeren, although known for selling youth stuffs, didn't provide any shoes that caught our attention.. Until we reached Adidas. Saw this pair of sneakers, majority blue with white. and another pair, same model, just the alternate colour arrangement: majority white with blue. However, they didn't have the size there, but they offered to help us call the Tampines 1 branch to reserve it. so ya. We decided to further try our luck at Cineleisure to see if there are other brands or designs.

Everyone will probably remember going to Cineleisure, and walking past this shoe shop which is rather poorly lit, but I think it's quite safe to say nobody really remembers the name yah? I can mention "this shop in Cine level 2 sell many sneakers one u know?" and everybody will "orh that one ah" but nobody remembers the name LOL. talk about PHAIL. lol. But that's besides the point ya. The shop does sell many shoes, and one pair did caught my eye. This pair from Vans was DAMN nice. Ah dear agreed(don't know whether it's because of the brand or what LOL). but seriously it's up till then the only pair which I could positively say is GOOD. But at 159, it's mighty steep. A good pair maybe, but I have other arrangements for my money for some other time, and by that time I had already bought quite some stuff(the tops and jeans).

So we decided to go back to taka for dinner and take a final look and decide whether to get the Pull and Bear shoes.. but as it turns out, we overestimated our judgment of the shoes, and it didn't really turn out to be as fine as we had in mind when we left the place. haha.. walking over to Stadium still located in taka, we saw what kind of shoes a girl should wear when travelling alone in the middle of the night and afraid of molesters LOL. Caterpillar's boots. Don't believe? take a look at the shoes' features. Not for the faint of heart man. If there's a shoe brand that separates the men from the boys, this is it man. lol.

But well I'm not ready to begin my life as an engineer so early, so we headed back to Tamp 1, to see how our last dash of hope turns out. Upon seeing the shoe, I quickly realized how nice and the one with majority white with little blue looks. Ah dear wanted the other one, but my intention was to get dark tops, a dark jeans and white base shoe, in order to contrast and bring out the shoe. So I went with my choice and got Nike's successor. Adidas. LOL. Kinda fitting successor, no?

And then we went to converse to get myself socks. My old socks have worn out and are getting very uncomfortable. Finally, dear dear in her desperate attempt to be on par with me in terms of spending for the day, got herself a pair of heels from DMK lol..

turned out, I spent 30cents more than her for the day LOL. oh not including cab fare though lol..

My last two paragraphs are kinda short, cause it's 1.40am now.. My brain isn't functioning anymore.. till the next post=)
